She's here!!!!

There are our cuties!!! Porter and Olivia Marie. She weighed 7lbs 5 oz and was 19 1/2" long. Who knows where her hair comes from! Porter was as bald as could be!!! She is so sweet and we are loving getting to know her!

Long time no post!!

Wow! It's been a LONG time!!! I thought I better put some things up because Mr. Porter is getting big SO FAST!!! Some favorite words he says: Dinosaur= Fwarfwar, Game=Gamee, Pizza= Pizzee. His loves right now are tractors, being outside and a giant cardboard box that a tuba came in. He will play with it forever. We are all doing good! I am getting a big belly and am now almost 31 weeks pregnant. Shawn is busy, busy with marching band as they are beginning their competitions. Go Herriman Mustangs!!!

Pee Pee Everywhere

So, I put Mr. Porter down for a nap. He got in trouble and had to go to bed for BITING me! So, while in his bed little Mr. took off his pants, and (yup, you guessed it!) his diaper too! Thank goodness it was just a pee mess!!! Well, he got in his drawers to get new clothes and HAD to wear this outfit. He was upset when I tried to choose something else. The shirt underneath has a submarine on it which he chose as well. He is Mr. Stylish pee boy

Makin Wishes

The other day Porter was playing outside and I was watching him from the house. He ran in the house and was SO excited. He grabbed my hand and took me outside to show me what he could do. He figured out how to blow dandelions. It's so fun to see him learn and discover things on his own, and be so excited about it.

Porter didn't want to get dressed after he had a bath. A naked baby picture is always cute.



So, last night we went to Bubb's ball game. OH MY HECK!!! About the funniest thing I've ever seen. The best part was when he hit the ball, and then chased after it. Oh, I love you Bubb!

I left the room for probably two seconds, and this is what I found when I came back. Porter was eating both mine and his Easter eggs. It's a good thing he's cute!

Things I didn't get pictures of: Porter taking wrappers from the garbage and putting them in the toilet(lovely) Porter dancing on Taffie. Shutting the kennel door on Taffie while she is eating. Porter laughing wildly at how much he loves to torture the dog. She puts up with a lot.

Easter Weekend

We had a really fun Easter/Conference weekend. On Saturday we pretty much just hung around an listened to conference. On Sunday we woke up and the Easter bunny had left Porter a basket!!! Imagine that!? He got new shoes, books, crayons, coloring books, and dirt digging tools. Thank you dollar section at Target! We headed to the in-laws to watch conference, where the kids had an Easter egg hunt. Porter actually did pretty well because he watched us hide the eggs. Then we went to my parents and ate dinner. We all had a lot of fun and had a nice, relaxing weekend.

After church on Sunday we sat down to lunch and after we were done eating we gave Mr. Porter a cookie. He was SO tired! After each bite he closed his eyes until he decided to stop wasting his energy on bites and just suck the cookie with his eyes closed. He fell asleep in no time.

Hello Everyone!!! This is intimidating for me to start a blog... I have no idea how to do any of this kind of "internetty" stuff. I wanted to start because I'm already forgetting special times we have as a family. What a great way this is to keep those memories! I will add pics... as soon as I figure out how ;). Between Mr. Porter dragging my knitting across the house, giving himself and the kitchen a flour bath, and doing his business in the shower (EEWWWW. Thank you Shawn for cleaning that up!) we've been having a grand ol' time!
